Nigeria: IP addresses and networks
Nigeria holds 3,219,200 public IPv4 addresses — 0.087% of all allocated IPv4 space, which ranks it #63 worldwide. Its address space is administered by AFRINIC.
It also holds enough IPv6 to cover 9,240,911 end-site networks, a figure that says more about how recently its providers deployed IPv6 than about how many people live there.
305 autonomous system numbers are registered there, and 230 of them currently announce routes on the public internet.

Allocation reflects when a country's networks joined the internet rather than its population, and addresses registered here can be routed anywhere in the world. That is one of the reasons IP geolocation is an estimate rather than a fact.
